Sunrun, a residential solar energy company, released their first mobile customer app in late 2023. In 2024 we added several major features, including an in-app store, and live system performance data for customers. I was the lead designer on the store/e-comm flow and the visual/motion designer on the data visualization screens for the performance screens. I also lead, along with the Creative Director, an update to the visual style across digital channels. I also built out motion and interaction for the design system.

Context

Co-branded creative assets

Sunrun partners with Tesla for a number of initiatives.
One component of the visual style project was finding a visual language that would accommodate co-branding and the visual language of both brands.
All assets had to be approved by both Sunrun & Tesla.
